Felsen Camp
Camping in the South of Namibia
Camping with a difference: on top of a hill integrated into many million years old rocks. Campers with tents, roof tents and mobile homes will find 3 wonderful sites with a fantastic view, protected and shaded by rock overhangs.
The facilities – hot and cold running water, showers, toilets, dishwashing and braai area - are integrated in the natural surroundings. Up to 6 persons with 1-2 cars can be accommodated per site. Rooiklip is located 1035m above sealevel in the center of the Gread Escarpment there is only sparse vegetation here, there are no big trees, shade is provided by huge rocks overhangs only. The early morning sun warms the whole place and from the late morning there is sufficient shade.
